  • All-New Audi Q7 brings the lightest, most fuel-efficient large SUV to Kuwait
  • Audi S3 combines increased dynamism with consistent efficiency
  • Audi TT Coupé stands out with uncompromising athleticism and power

Kuwait, January XX, 2016 – Audi’s trio of powerful yet fuel efficient cars in their respective class – the all-new Q7, the S3 Sedan and the TT Coupé – fueled excitement into Auto Moto 16 as a huge crowd of car lovers gathered at the 360 Mall for Kuwait’s highly anticipated annual motor show held on 17 – 23 of January,

The all-new Q7 45 TFSI quattro, which boasts a new 3.0-liter V6 engine, the largest interior in its segment and innovative assistance features, also sets new standards in operating concept, infotainment and connectivity with the second-generation modular infotainment platform and optional Audi virtual cockpit. The new MMI all-in-touch control unit with large touchpad makes operation intuitive and simple, with an Audi tablet for rear passengers and two sound systems with 3D sound are further innovations that have been introduced in the new model.

Another highlight is the extremely comprehensive and progressive range of new driver assistance systems – including adaptive cruise control with traffic jam assist and the cross-traffic assist in the rear.

Thanks to the precise lightweight concept from Audi, and use of multi-materials for body and all-new chassis, this big car consumes less fuel than its predecessor by up to 27 percent. The new Q7 also provides excellent comfort and the performance of a sporty Audi, while having top-notch CO2 values that strictly comply with Euro Emission 6 standards.

Uncompromising in performance, the 45 TFSI quattro engine with 333 hp effortlessly powers  the new Audi Q7 from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds and  a top speed of 250 km/h, with fuel efficiency of only 7.9 liters per 100 kilometers and CO2 per kilometer emission of just 183 grams.

Audi S3

image The Audi S3 Sedan Quattro also captured the attention of Auto Moto 16’s audience with its stronger, sportier, fascinating and unique look. As a sedan with an S-factor, its rear diffuser and dual-branch exhaust system with oval twin tailpipes presents an appearance that definitely arouses expectations and inspires speed. This is further complemented by 19" inch, 5-twin-spoke star design wheels that provide reliable road handling and grip.

On the inside, the S sport seat with outstanding lateral support, the S-specific start-stop button and flat-bottomed multifunction sport leather steering wheel perfectly combine dynamism with the precision of the MMI navigation plus with MMI touch.

Powered by a 2.0-liter TFSI 221 KW engine with 286 bhp, the Audi S3 Sedan delivers outstanding efficiency combined with optimum performance. By substituting supercharging for cubic capacity, its engine size and weight has been considerably reduced. Its performance though has remained as impressively dynamic as ever, thanks to its electronically controlled sport differential that efficiently distributes variable amounts of drive force to each wheel. This ensures outstanding acceleration performance in corners and stabilises the vehicle’s response to load change. It also improves direct steering characteristics and provides more agile handling due to the lower steering effort required.

Another important feature of the Audi S3 Sedan that enables it to deliver top-notch fuel efficiency is the S tronic transmission. By combining the low fuel consumption of a manual transmission with the benefits of an automatic, it ensures fast and consumption-reducing gear shifting in automatic mode. Also, a very large transmission-ratio spread of the S tronic allows the last gears to be used even at very low engine speeds.

Audi TT Coupé

Striking features of the new exterior include the three-dimensional design of the Single-frame grill that is stylishly integrated into the horizontal front end with striking air inlets.

Powered by a 45 TFSI 2.0-liter engine with 230 bhp, the Audi TT sports car genes set your pulse racing immediately as it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds and can reach a top speed of 250 km/h. The combination of state-of-the-art transmission technology guarantees fast gear changing, whilst the complex lightweight engineering concept reduces consumption, increases efficiency and even lowers the centre of gravity, thus improving handling.

Inside the new Audi TT are S sport seats, which are available for the first time, together with innovative and intuitive air-conditioning controls in the dashboard. Also premiered in the new Audi TT is the Audi virtual cockpit which incorporates a high-resolution LCD screen that presents information: either as classic round dials or through futuristic full-screen views – which can be switched quickly using the multifunction plus steering wheel.

Auto Moto 16 offered the public a taste of the new models available from Audi with this display of the Audi S3 sedan, Q7 and TT coupe. The full range of Audi models are on display at the Fouad Alghanim & Sons showroom, the exclusive dealers of Audi in Kuwait.
